    shiretoko,firefox question

    recently i reinstalled
i went to synaptic searched firefox-3.5 and installed it.
so on menu it seems as shiretoko.when i place the over it ,says firefox 3.5 beta.
what will i have to do to get firefox 3.5(the stable one) without messing up with the ppa.launchpad....(because i did that and it just didnt work) and have the updates?

if i dont have any other choice please give me a guide on how to install through the official webside(and have later updates )?

oops, the method I suggested above won't allow you to get updates, so try this one instead.

i checked it thanks but a lot of links in the page don't work

so i guess the ubuntu repos will not be updated with the new version of firefox until karmic comes officially out...?

    if i install through the
repository i suppose the shirotoko version will continue to be updated but always be in beta version...?
