    Question ISO9660 issue?

So the last time I posted on here, I never got a response, but managed to figure it out on my own after 3 reinstallations of ubuntu because I was using an "unorthodox" method of installation...so I'm not expecting much.

    Anyways, here's the problem

My friend has The Sims 3.
    I'm broke, so I don't.
    I want a copy.
I threw it into my laptop, right clicked 'copy disk'
It copied an ISO file to my desktop.
So I threw in a DL DVD, and right clicked the ISO file, and said "write to disk"
I got an error halfway through (forgot to write down what it was and DL disks are expensive, so I don't want to try again) and it failed.
When I try to open the ISO via archive manager, it says "CD-ROM is NOT in valid ISO9660 format"
When I mount the ISO, the mounted image contains nothing.
I got poweriso for linux, and converted the iso to daa, and then back to iso to see if that would do anything, but no luck.
Any ideas as to what I can do to make the ISO readable?
(note: I no longer have immediate access to the original Sims 3 disk)

Sorry dude, I have been having the exact same problem with the same game.

This forum has yet to answer a single one of my posts.

Well what do you expect if you ask for help pirating a commercial game in a Linux forum?

free tip: there is such a thing as copy-protection...

Yeah. That's why I wasn't really expecting an answer. I figured it out anyways. I now play the Sims 3 constantly. Totally needed PlayOnLinux, and didn't even know it. xD
