Angry Volume Applet 2.22.2 no longer working in Hardy

Since I installed pulsaudio, the volume applet is no longer working. I see it uses gstreamer and could be a bug? Is there an update to make it control the pulseaudio stream? A workaround perhaps?

Silly me, I started the old machine this morning, and automatically fixed my sound applet! You have to right-click and choose preferences. In the preferences it will ask you which device and track you wish to control. ALSA PCM on equailiser works for me. This should probably be in the Pulseaudio FAQ as one of the steps you need to do when upgrading Pulseaudio on Hardy! so SOLVED
