GKrellM - Spinning Fans Anyone?
Hi,
I have gkrellm installed on an old i8000 laptop with the i8k temperature utility for dells. It has a (what I consider to be) really nice little graphical representation of two little spinning fans with the speeds just below them.
I expected to find the same thing when I installed gkrellm with lm-sensors on this computer, but I couldn't find them. I'm suspecting it's a i8k thing. I've looked for a "spinning fan" plugin, but no luck.
I lost a processor on my i8000 because my heat sink stopped working and I didn't have a monitoring program - so I'm a little nervious about this stuff. I like the constant graphical reminder that the fans are doing their thing - or perhaps more importantly - not.
Anyone know how I can get the spinning fans in my gkrellm?
