Chandler on 9.04

does anyone know how to install Chandler on Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope?

Preferably with a .deb package, but any way would be useful!

Has anyone managed to make chandler run on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS yet ?
I would like to know how to make it run in ubuntu.
Its such a great tool!

Since the debs didn't work i tried to use the windows version via wine, but there i was always getting an error message when i tried to move an item into another folder within chandler which brought me to post the bug in the wine forum where thanksfully "dimesio" advised me to try the compressed (tar.gz). Which you can followup here:

At the Compressed Image (*.tar.gz) section of that page.

Its working perfectly on ubuntu 10.04!

Thank you very much dietmar, this post was exactly what I was looking for after finding only people using this in Dapper and Hardy. Chandler is now running smoothly in Lucid for me too.

hi susanw, i have found no tool that beats chandler, wether pay tools - nothing handles todos with sync and in team that good. I hope someday the chandler team will work on it again...
