Hey all, I got this in my email today:

Hey all, if your in the Augusta area, the Augusta Linux User Group is
hosting a meeting on the 11th of July 2009 @ 2:00pm to 3:30pm @ the
Maxwell Library (1927 Lumpkin Rd, Augusta, GA 30906-3524, (706)
793-2020). This months event we will discuss Intrusion Detection and
Security. Come out and enjoy the fun. Look forward to seeing you there.

Is the Ubuntu community in Augusta very active?

not sure, but I'm going to check it out.
