Pidgin crashes on sending any message...

When I send a message in pidgin, it crashes. I get this output from command line:

I: caps.c: Limited capabilities successfully to CAP_SYS_NICE.
I: caps.c: Dropping root privileges.
I: caps.c: Limited capabilities successfully to CAP_SYS_NICE.
Segmentation fault


I have the gfire plugin installed, but I'd really like to keep it.

This happens when sending MSN or Xfire message, I didn't test other protocols.

What the hell is this? (it did work yesterday...)

A miracle has brought Pidgin back to life, I don't know why it's suddenly working.

I did fix amarok by deleting it's config files, but I don't think this has anything to do with pidgin..
