Where's The Mouse

USB presentation mouse plugged in lsusb shows:
Bus 005 Device 002: ID 0a91:3801 Globlink Technology, Inc. Targus PAKP003 Mouse
it's not a Targus PAKP003 it's a AMP01.
When I plug it in /dev creates a new usb folder and in it is hiddev0. If I remove device folder goes away, plug it in folder comes back.

If I plug in a Kensington Pocket Mouse Pro Wireless it works great, lsusb shows - Bus 003 Device 002: ID 047d:1023 Kensington Pocket Mouse Pro Wireless
and there is no /dev/usb. How do I get the Targus to work like the Kensington ?

I need to do a presentation in a few weeks and I would really like to have usb presentation mouse working, alternative is an old XP system which I know can use the AMP01 presenter, but what a slap.

Please some one with some knowledge in this area, help!!!!

it' beyond my level of knowledge bty I am no expert in Linux, some body out there has to be snarter than me in this or we are in trouble
