Red face Have to reenter WEP key every 5 minutes?!

Okay so maybe not every 5 minutes or I'd just set up a cron job and forget about it. I'm using wicd under openbox and I'm having to reenter the wep key randomly sometimes it will be fine for an hour sometimes im reentering it every few minutes. My /etc/network/interfaces only contains Lo devices (as it should) and specifying the wireless-key there doesn't help.

    [ 26.761488] pan0: Dropping NETIF_F_UFO since no NETIF_F_HW_CSUM feature.
thats the only odd thing i see in my dmesg, none of my wireless devices are aliased to pan0 (whatever that is)

    Any ideas?
