    matlab windows go missing

I'm running MATLAB 7.7.0 on Jaunty. Everything works fine but there is one persistent annoyance: when I have multiple windows open they often disappear from the panel at the bottom of the screen. I can still use alt+tab to switch to them, but it would be nice if this didn't happen. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, it also happens to me on some occasions.
There are two sides to every story: my side and the wrong side.

Indeed this happens, and it appears to be another compiz issue. For me, turning visual effects off solves this. Not an optimal fix though... Another way is to click "hide all windows" button at the bottom left. This restores all open windows for me.
