No, not at this time. The gamepad won't even work on USB.

This is not a software flaw, it's hardware (blame Gasia).
Even on windows it doesn't work correctly...

I'm not sure what I can do about this, the usual way to connect a sixaxis fails (probably because sixpair itself doesn't work for it).

I'll try to get them working again next month (got some new stuff to try), but I can't promise results.

Can someone tell if it works ok on a PS3? (a video demo will be great)

Re: HOW-TO: Connect Sixaxis to Ubuntu trough bluetooth mode

Using the Qtsixa 1.5 gui interface I cant seem to disable the axis and accelerometer functions under configure this specific device. I uncheck the boxes and click finish but nothing changes. I go back at the boxes are still checked. Some emulators will not let me configure the buttons because they are picking up on the motion sensing ability of the controller. Is there a file I can manually edit or some command I can use to kill thoughs to functions of my dualshock3?

I had to use sudo qtsixa to do that.

    Probably a permission issue.

This can be easily fixed with:
    Code:
    sudo chmod 777 -R /var/lib/sixad

Ok, new issue. I can seem to get emulators to register my analog sticks on the ds3. Any ideas as to why that would be? Thanks in advance.

Hello again! Gasia gamepad not supported SDP. I insert "return 0" in first string function get_sdp_device_info and all perfect working!

    Thanks for the heads up.
But when I tried that, I got a nasty kernel crash...

I've been pretty busy with other projects, so I decided to set a deadline for QtSixA - October 13th (same day Oneiric is out).
Expect a fully working beta/RC by then

Can sixad's force feedback work in WINE?

According to the WINE Wiki, there is support for force feedback using DirectInput on top of evdev.

In the WINE Forums I found some advice on making it work, which I have not tried.

To get as close as possible to working, remove /dev/js* and /dev/input/js* files to force Wine using evdev driver for joysticks. Also make sure that you have read-write permissions on corresponding evdev device for your joystick (one of /dev/input/event*).
I only have one application to test the force feedback, ePSXe 1.7.0, in which it is definitely not working, but WINE seems to have some trouble with sixad. All of the input works, but the analog controls get mapped to extra, imaginary controllers.
