    Unkown error at login (XKB)

    Hi,

Ive been using jaunty for months, and suddenly I get this annoying error message when I log into ubuntu.

I have no idea what its about, or what is causing it. Nor how to stop it.
Its starting to feel very Windows like being greeted with errors on loging in lol.

Have you changed your keyboard layout?

Go to System > Preferences > Keyboard and see what default layout is set.
Try deleting the layout and setting it again to see if that helps.

Was getting this with Hardy Heron and that was what I did to fix it.

    Good Luck
