I recently switched from XMMS to Audacious (Because XMMS was blocking all other sound). When I used XMMS, I could control it through a tty terminal (xmms -t, xmms -f, etc.). But when I try to do the same with Audacious, it reports an "Unable to open display" error, though it works fine with a terminal on X scree. I need to control it via tty because I wanna be able to switch songs while I'm playing a game. Can anybody help me? Audacious version: 1.5.1.
