Hi
is it possible to get Ubuntu Jaunty to recognise an internal GPS? I have a Fujitsu u820 with an internal gps chip made by Kyocera. Kyocera seem to use Sirf Star III chipsets on recent products, and i suspect thats whath the u820 have. I have tried different gps applications available in Ubuntu but they cant find the gps. I guess they look for external devices by default.
The gps is recognised in Windows as com 3, the location path as reported by Windows device manager is:
