    laptop keyboard mapping gone haywire!!

    Hi,

    this is very strange. My laptop keyboard has decided the following j=1, k=2,l=3,u=4,i=5,p=enter. I have been using the laptop for months with no problems. The default layout is Irish, I changed this to be UK but this didn't help. Can anyone help me figure out why my keyboard has suddently gone nuts and how to fix it.
