firewall logging help needed
I know one could argue for about 4 other places to put this thread but I decided Networking & Wireless was the best bet.
If I'm not mistaken ufw is the preferred firewall for Jaunty and all ubuntu going forward. I have gufw installed and it works fine, I like it to start with the OS. I can set up the rules just fine but I can't figure out where the startup command is located after ticking the "Autostart with session" box in edit preferrences. Also, I have enabled both "gufw logging" and "ufw logging." However I want higher logging level than it seems to provide by default, I cant find the ufw log anywhere.
Ultimately, I want to get conky to show all of the blocked connections but currently those don't appear to be logged at all anywhere.
My questions are these, how do I:
1) get gufw to start without bugging me for admin password?
2) change the log level of gufw or find a log of blocked connections?
this is for jaunty x64
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
