    "setting advanced power management to oxfe (254)"

    my upgraded version of 9.04 won't move past this during the "dos" stages
    any ideas/reasons why?

    After booting into Ubuntu without problems plenty of times, this problem suddenly occurs on my system too.

    Suggestions would be welcome

    It just doesn't boot after that message in the "dos" mode.

    getting same problem after upgrade, fix this ubuntu team.
