    firefox

    how do you run firefox in the termimal and git to google the termimal win you press alt control and F2

    with ALT-F2 you can run a program, just type 'firefox' and it should open firefox. If you press CRTL-ALT-F2 you drop back the non graphical terminal where you can't run any graphical tools like firefox, instead you can use 'lynx' to text-browse.

    the command firefox google.com will open google in firefox
