I am attempting to install CACTFD and as soon as the cd loads it asks me if i want autorun the software, i click on run then i get this error "Error starting autorun program: Permission denied", any help would be appreciated, and i already went to winehq.org and didn't find a thing.

First up and mot important question. Do you have wine installed! For some strange reason windows .exe files are associated with the archive manager until wine is installed.

Have a look at this to get you started http://www.winehq.org/download/deb

I have always had problems with using autorun with windows programs in linux. You might just have to open the cd and actually run the program and not depend on autorun.
