Hi having trouble with sidebar or w/e

Hi, I'm not an absolute nub with Ubuntu but i am having trouble finding what the sidebar is called that displays cpu usage/ram usage and hard drive space left, urmm and it has the calender.. Sorry for being a burden but im dying to get it. Anyone can help me?

Nah thats not it although i just installed it anyways...its more along the lines as a slide plane/ sidebar like the vista one if you know what I'm talking about. Its' an actual toobar but displays comp. stuff.

A "tool" that displays that kind of stuff is gkrellm. You can get it through Synaptic.

It's similar to conky in its usage but it's not as detailed as conky because you can only choose from predefined options.
