    AGP Video card recommendation

I have an old computer with a video that does not have good driver support in ubuntu. Would someone recommend a video card that has good support in ubuntu 9.04? I have no preference between free or restricted drivers.

I did ask this question in another way, but without success.

    My system:
    Pentium 3 933 MHz
    AGP 4x
    512 MB
    Ubuntu 9.04

Pretty much any nVidia card. If you don't care so much about 3D game performance then a GeForce4MX440 would be perfect. It's got more than enough power for simple stuff, and they were like $100 max when they came out, so you should be able to find one for like $20 now.

I would avoid any ATi cards. The support is terrible for older cards, no matter what drivers you use it's a huge farce.
The Windows/Linux/OS X holy wars are pointless. Use what you like. It's just an operating system on a computer. Seriously.
