    Not properly closed a tag

In the green box (The Ubuntu Developers Summit is an event to plan what features will be going into Ubuntu 9.10. You can participate remotely or follow happening on identi.ca.) is an unclosed a tag (Hint: identi.ca). This makes some strange effects, when doing hover on all links that follow this tag.

    What's With This

    http://identi.ca/tag/uds

The above web-bug address is in the body of Ubuntu Forums.
I can see it and click on it in Opera 10.00 but it is not visible in Firefox 3.0.10.
When I click anywhere on the page, except for the forum links, I get taken to the above site.
Further, it is placing RED-Underlines on ALL Forum Links.
This is quite distracting and totally not needed or required, IMHO.

    So, what's up with this?

    Re-read my post.
The bug shows in Opera, NOT Firefox.

And this on a Ubuntu system.

Thanks for pointing it out. It's fixed along with the other announcement that appears in blue.

    Probably this

I had it too with Safari on the MacBook, but not with Firefox. Not with Epiphany on Ubuntu either.

    Re: What's With This

Must be because Firefox is smart enough to close tags where they should be closed, even if it isn't in the code.

j/k - not trying to start a war or anything
