Nvidia accelerated graphics driver (version 180) problem/glitch?

Hello, I have a HP pavilion laptop with a Nvidia graphics card. When i installed Ubuntu 9.04, the graphics were choppy and slow, so i went to the "Hardware Drivers" tool. I cliked to install "Nvidia accelerated graphics driver (version 180)", and it installed fine. I rebooted, and everything seemed to be fine, but about after 10 minutes the screen goes all funny and crashes everything, so i have to reboot to fix it. It does this about every 10 minutes, i don't know what the problem is, anyone know a solution? The card is "GeForce 8200M G"
