    https proxy server settings only works for synaptic

    Hi

    All i want to do is connect to the internet via an https server.

    When I put the settings everywhere, synaptic works fine, however, my wine apps don't seem to have internet connectivity..

    How can I resolve this?

    Pleaaaaaaaaase help I've been googling for weeks,
