    Map a keyboard-shortcut to mouse?

    Yo!

I wonder if this is possible. I have recently deleted and hidden the gnome-panel, so i don't have the main menu on the panel anymore, but i'm using the ALT+F1 keyboard-shortcut so the menu now pops up like in Openbox/Fluxbox etc. I've configurated it so when i now press "super" (windows button), the menu pops up.

But this isn't the most ideal way doing this, since i can't enter the menu whitout pressing the keyboard, SO, is it possible to map the keyboard-shortcut to the mouse? Let's say when i press the wheel on the top of the mouse, the menu pops up?

    Thanks in advance

you could use the btnx and btnx-config tools to configure your mouse to use these shortcuts

just search for btnx in synaptic
