Post Excellent UNIX/Linux Shell CheatSheet : free

I was searching for books about shell programming and stumbled upon this nice find:

It's a free Linux command cheat-sheet, with brief explanations.

I though this would be very helpful for beginners like myself.

Awesome, I printed them out and will have them on my desk at home til I just remember them. I think after Ubuntu install is complete a PDF, with these 3 pages, should be left on the desktop for the user to discover.

    Hi,

    Thank for that info.

If cal is entered in a terminal as it states the calendar for this month appears.

    Try for example:
    cal jun 2009
cal 2009 (or another year) then enlarge vertically [Alt + F6 in Xubuntu]

I will study and learn during the next few weeks.

Or laminate and use as mousepad.
