    Using SLiM, cannot unlock gnome-system-tools

    I did a minimal Ubuntu install and used SLiM login manager. But now all the gnome-system-tools like users-admin and time-admin have the unlock button grayed out and I cannot make any changes.

    How can I get them the Unlock button back without going back to GDM?
