You might also want to try midori. It's based on webkit (like safari on the Mac) and is light weight enough to be the chosen browser (IIRC) for Ubuntu MDE. Just 'sudo aptitude install midori' to try it out.

Opera is my fav for 10 years because it's the fastest.
Opera ran great on all versions of Ubuntu going back to Fiesty.
That said I just tried going to x64 Jaunty and Opera is slow on x64 JJ while still faster than ever on x32 JJ.
On 64 bit Jaunty there is a wireless issue with Opera that hasn't been fixed yet which slows Opera down.

Just installed SeaMonkey 1.1.15 and they recommend an upgrade to 1.1.16 version.
Having trouble upgrading to 1.1.16 on 64bit version Jaunty.
Can someone tell me what I have to do to upgrade?

SeaMonkey looks interesting, want to play around with it.
How do you folks rate it?

My proxy server appears to have blocked Opera and Firefox, so Seamonkey is a godsend. Its fast and efficient but lacks some of the features like greasemonkey in Firefox. Basically I can use Firefox to run around, but have trouble logging in to Facebook or Wordpress and can't solve the problem, so Seamonkey is now my primary browser.
