    Tomboy Notes with Symbols?

    I am a math and computer science student, and I wish to use Tomboy Notes for taking down notes.

    Does Tomboy come with a symbols plugin? Like the intergration sign, fraction bar, square root sign, etc.
    Slow Ubuntu compared to Windows or Mac OSX, despite all the tweaking? You might have an NVidia graphics card. Read this post.

    Tomeboy does not do this but you might wanna try Basket Notes In the Repos

    here's a list of One Note Replacements I found when I googled, you may wanna check a few of these out
