using 32bit, testing 64bit, my home partition

I have been very successfully using 9.04 32bit since the alpha stages. I have home in a separate partition and it's encrypted. Now I'm testing the 64bit version in another partition w/o using my regular home partition. It's working great as well. Can I change over to my regular home partition in the usual way or is there a difference between the 32bit and the 64bit that would hinder it?

Also, there's the encryption part. Having not used an encrypted home partition before Jaunty I was wondering if there is a different procedure moving the home partition.

    Thanks very much...

Maybe I posted to the wrong discussion group. It does involve installation, 32bit and encryption but there is a 64bit question... sorry.

If anyone has any ideas about the question I would appreciate it. I shouldn't double post.

    thanks
