Custom Desktop Right-Click Menu KDE4

Does anyone know if this is a planned feature? I liked being able to customize the desktop menu in KDE3.5 and that's why I haven't considered switching from Gnome since KDE4.

I heard this might be possible in KDE4.3 and if that's the case, could someone confirm it?
