    Connecting with Huawei E220 3G in 9.04?

    Hi,

I have just installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my computer and would like to connect it to the internet using a Huawei E220 3G USB dongle.

I have added it in "Mobile Broadband" under "Network Connections" and entered all information needed.

But then what? How do I connect with these new settings? If I click on the small "connection"-icon in the top right corner of the desktop, there is nothing - isn't it supposed to show up there?

    Thank you.

Thinking about it, shouldn't there be a "enable wireless" button up there too? Is it missing because I didn't have a wireless netcard in my computer doing the installation of Ubuntu?

Problem solved! Ubuntu didn't detect my dongle when I connected it to the usb hub in my mac keyboard. When I connect it directly to my computer everything works fine.
