Of course taste is a matter of taste, but to me the boot splash of kubuntu jaunty seems to be very small - right now it lookes like a 640x480 logo displayed unstretched. Is there a way to maximize it?

Re: ubuntu boot logo messed
enter to applications and add/remove
install the program StartUp-Manager
after the installation enter to system -> administration -> StartUp-Manager
in the display resolution chose the desire res and chose close (enjoy)
Thanks for the tip. That does not enlarge the splash logo, though, it only makes the text smaller (and gives some other useful options...) It seems as there isn't any bigger logo in the .so file... Maybe it's intentional....
