I have a Trendnet TEW-424UBK wireless adapter that worked right out of the box in Ubuntu 8.10. (Did not need ndiswrapper or any fiddling around with drivers. It "just worked.")

I'm finding that with Ubuntu 9.04 this is no longer the case. When I plug the Trendnet adapter in, the system recognizes that something has been plugged into the USB port and that's as far as it goes. No modules are loaded, and of course there is no wireless connectivity.

I checked once again by booting up on my 8.10 "live" CD, and the TEW-424UBK still "just works" immediately and automatically with that version.

Was the necessary driver removed in 9.04? What needs to be done to get this adapter to work again? (Aside from going back to Ubuntu 8.10, of course!)
