Hi there,
New at Ubuntu, but already very enthusiastic! On my old laptop it works fine. But.... on my desktop computer I can't get my sitecom wl-608 wireless USBstick to work. NDISwrapper doesn't work, nor anything else I have tried. And I have to go through a lot of hassle to get this machine on cable...
Alternatively I tried an old other sitecome thing (the Arcadyan wn3501e with intersil prism chipset). Alas this only has a .sys driver for windows. I tried the linux-wlan-ng drivers for this as well, but the system just doesn't see the wireless device.
Btw: I have installed jaunty and I use a pentium 4 (Dell).
Can anybody help me?
Thanks!
Paul
