Question 8.04.2 No display manager on boot.

I have no gnome display on boot. It goes straight to tty. I have tried to fix xserver in recovery, with no joy. I assume that the relevant boot-script has become corrupted.

    (It was fine last night....)

Can someone give me the code for re-setting the boot-script to default, using Gnome as the gdm, please? If that's how it works

    (Thanks be to the LiveCD)
