    How to start Compiz automatically

I'm running vanilla Ubuntu with all 3 DEs installed, but I've switched to Xfce pretty much full time. If I want to run 'compiz --replace' and 'emerald --replace' at the beginning of only Xfce sessions, where would I put it? Or, is there a better way to configure Xfce to use Compiz and Emerald?

(Also, how do I get the Cube to appear in Compiz Fusion?)

Windows is to Linux as a straw house is to a brick house. The bricks are harder to get started with, but they're higher quality and won't crash as easily.

I think --replace pretty much does it, you don't have to run it every time.

As for the cube, just enable it in compizconfig under System/Preferences.

For the Cube, I'm actually talking about how to make the Cube itself appear - i.e., the keystroke that needs to be configured.

you can configure that in compizconfig Rotate Cube/Bindings Tab - I have it programmed to pop up when I click the middle mouse button for example...
