I'm running ubuntu eee on my eeepc 901. But I can't get it to use its full bandwidth. It is supposed to be compatible with 802.11n. But I still can't get more than 54Mbps. My router is a D-link DIR-615, and I have no problem getting 250-300 Mbps with my other computers.
when I check iwconfig it says:
ra0 RT2860 Wireless ESSID:"finnAce" Nickname:"RT2860STA"
Mode:Managed Frequency=2.452 GHz Access Point: 00:1E:58:01:41:E8
Bit Rate=54 Mb/s
RTS thr: off Fragment thr: off
Link Quality=89/100 Signal level:-54 dBm Noise level:-97 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0
and when I check my router it says that I'm just connecting in 11g mode. I'm using driver version 1.8.0.0 for rt2860.
any help appreciated!
