Nothing downloads in the update/synaptic package manager/plugin manager

I don't know what it is, I just installed this and now it dosen't want to download anything at or if it does it download a bit then stops and does nothing. and when downloading from something else like firefox it still does nothing. Downloading went fine before i installed this (while I was running Live CD) but now its turned to crap and I need wine and my ati drivers!

Whats going on and how can I fix this? It cant be my ISP nor my router because like i just said, downloading went smoothly in the live cd and also my previous install (which got killed by windows)

Today is the Big Day(tm) and I think that a lot of users are experiencing the same problem. A lot. Perhaps tomorrow? You might also see if you can point to a different mirror for better results.
