    Wubi after windows reinstallation

    Hi,

I had my windows installed on C: drive and I had installed Ubuntu through Wubi on by D: drive.

I had some problem with windows and had to format the C: and reinstall windows. I have all the ubuntu installation and the files in D: safely, but I dont get the option for choosing windows or Ubuntu, which I used to get earlier, that is because the boot.ini file in windows is new and doesnt have the entry to launch Ubuntu.

Now is there a way I can get back the boot screen and the previous Ubuntu back ?

    Re: Wubi after windows reinstallation

The only thing I can think of is reinstalling through Wubi to the C:\ drive and then looking at the boot.ini and trying the modify the Wubi entry to match up with the files on the D:\ drive.
