    Google Earth Problems

I have posted before but received no answer on this odd problem. Zoomed out in Google Earth, I can see things fine but if I zoom in I get this strange "white" layer and can't see things very well. There are two screen shots here same position but different zoom levels. Any ideas?

Maybe try disabling the atmosphere? I think it's in the "View" menu, but I don't remember for sure.

If this isn't the problem, I don't have other ideas, sorry.

atmosphere has got to be one of the biggest cause of issues with google earth. i usually recommend everyone on linux os disable it. it usually brings a speed boost with disabling it on some systems as well.
