I know it's pmasiar so you were probably just waiting for any excuse, but he's essentially saying that those who don't read FAQs would deserve an infraction as they are essentially just generating useless threads...

Think what you will of the suggestion itself ("that is a bad idea" is a perfectly valid, acceptable response), but IMO the banning is completely unreasonable.

That was not the only infracted post. They were several. It's been a long story, very long story, and we reached the end of it.
