    Yes, but that bug was fixed back in 8.04. The problem that I'm having now only appeared with 9.04 Alpha5.

    Just curious, which Intel chipset does your laptop have??

    I'm trying it on my Eee pc 900, and when booting off the SD card, and when its booting, it seems that my monitor turns off, or garbles with this fuzzy, white things, and have to do a hard reset. Can anyone tell me what is going on? I would Appreciate it. Thanks a lot!

    Great release!

    Few problems: (HP NC6000, Intel 855PM chipset, Ati Radeon 9600 (using opensource drivers))

    Lid switch doesn't work since 8.04 (starts working after hibernating).
    No suspend/hibernate/shutdown on battery level critical.

    Jaunty's look is great, now I can't just wait for it to come out. Please fix the hibernation problem that is in 8.10.
