Just Give Me the Beans!
I was wondering if it would be possible to change the CPU speed on Windows XP. I am easily able to change the CPU speed on Ubuntu through the little shortcut I added to panel for changing CPU speed and monitoring it. Is there anything similar available for Windows XP that will help decrease the speed or increase speed?

The only thing that I could think of involved AMD Cool'n'Quiet and then it wasn't like what you have in mind.
Check your motherboard manufacturer, if they have anything.
Possibly, check on other forums, this is not the right place for windows questions, not that I don't want to help you, just that I really don't know.
