Question Unable to access Vista network with Ubuntu 8.10 w/Samba

I'm a new Ubuntu user and so far I've been enjoying it thoroughly. However, I need to have access to my Vista (Ultimate) desktop via my wireless network to print and access files. Vista to Vista sharing works great, but whenever I try to access the Vista desktop w/ Ubuntu (Places>Network>NameofDesktop) I get the following message:

    Unable to mount location
Failed to retrieve share list from server.

Btw, I can access other Vista computers on the network but not my desktop.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Does desktop have firewall active? (Disable it for a trial.)
