    Supported MID / UMPC tablet

    Hi ho,

    am looking for recommendations for a supported MID / UMPC tablet. size in the 5" area (like the archos 5 just open....)

    needs to be able to do flash and java, ideally also wine

    any recommendations, thanks

    you might want to stick with windows for now if you want to do that. theres plenty of tablet support in linux (typically wacom tablets) but the later versions of flash don't work in wine. java works anywhere, so that doesn't really matter.

    thanks for the reply..

    short question why do you mention flash in wine? I was hoping to find a device that runs linux and run linux-flash on it...

    oooooo, well when you said tablet, flash, and java, what came to mind was your a developer as well as a graphic artist. linux has plenty of flash support, its usually a given. when you say you want to run flash, you're talking about like flash MX or other tools by adobe, which do not work

    I want to get a new mobile phone / gps navigator with either Ubuntu mobile or Moblin. But I can't find any devices that are capable of running either.

    Can someone please post a list of the devices that are compatible and links to their web sites?
