    [SOLVED] host name for sudo

I have been playing with dnsmasq but have not completed the set up. Now when I need to use sudo for something I get
    Code:
    bob@bob-desktop:~$ sudo updatedb
sudo: unable to resolve host bob-desktop
    However,
    Code:
    bob@bob-desktop:~$ hostname
    bob-desktop
sudo works just fine. What is causing this error message?

Edit: Thanks to Michael.Godawski for providing the link that shows how to fix this.
