Toshiba Satellite M60 Numpad and media buttons don't work.
I installed Ubuntu 8.10 on my laptop today, and the onboard keyboard's numpad isn't working like it should.
Pushing the keys doesn't seem to do anything.
The only key that seems to work is the Enter key.
Keys that don't work:
1 | End
2 | Down Arrow
3 | Page Down
4 | Left Arrow
5
6 | Right Arrow
7 | Home
8 | Up Arrow
9 | Page Up
0 | Insert
. | Delete
Numlock

The + key seems to think it's a mouse click sometimes, however.
Left or right click. It doesn't seem picky.
I'm pretty sure this is a keyboard layout issue, but I'm not sure what to pick.
Any ideas?

Re: Toshiba Satellite M60 Numpad doesn't work.
Seems the multimedia keys don't work either.
I've tried using the keytouch getscancodes program, but none of the keys are registering.
Not the numpad keys, nor the multimedia keys.
I can't figure out what's wrong.
Someone help? Please?

Re: Toshiba Satellite M60 Numpad doesn't work.
I just had the same problem on my desktop ubuntu install.
Might not be the same issue but just in case....
Go to Preferences >>> Keyboard
Click on the "mouse keys" tab
Make sure the tick box is unticked.
