Hello Detroit!
Try xwinwrap
These two pages offer a .deb package but I can't vouch for the authenticity nor have I installed it myself..
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=557926
http://tech.shantanugoel.com/project...hantz-xwinwrap
Download it, unpack it (2nd link only), change into the directory where the package is located and do
There's also this oneCode:sudo dpkg -i xwinwrapcvs.deb
http://code.google.com/p/gwinwrap/
but they warn you that it's not stable yet...
I didn't get the background to work yet but im having fun with compiz fusion. It's a rotating cube! sweet! I found it at http://www.compiz-fusion.org/
