NVidia Dual monitors broke on upgrade to 8.10

I just upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10, in prep for 9.04 to come out in a few weeks. And after the upgrade, my dual monitors (Xinerama) stopped working and when I boot, I get the error
"Ubuntu is running in low graphics mode."
(EE) Screen 0 deleted because no matching config section
When it boots, both monitors have the same image. I don't know what the problem is because I backed up my xorg file before the upgrade and now neither the new or old one work and no matter what, I always get that error.

Here's the xorg.conf file that was backed up...
    # nvidia-xconfig: X configuration file generated by nvidia-xconfig
    # nvidia-xconfig: version 1.0 (buildmeister@builder63) Mon May 19 00:33:37 PDT 2008

    # xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
    #
    # This file was generated by failsafeDexconf, using
    # values from the debconf database and some overrides to use vesa mode.
    #
    # You should use dexconf or another such tool for creating a "real" xorg.conf
    # For example:
    # sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I can't stand being down to just one monitor.

Re: NVidia Dual monitors broke on upgrade to 8.10

Okay so I decided to try to reinstall the nvidia driver, and when I did, it says something about the CC version check failed and I need to change my CC to the exact version. It says I need 4.2. I'm using 4.3. I tried uninstalling 4.3 but that didn't work.

Nope, already tried that. It just tells me I already have the most recent version installed.
